Founder Idea: JEEPON(JEEKOTA POINT OF NEED)
"What if customers announced their needs... and businesses competed to fulfill them?" Businesses have always advertised what they sell. What if people advertised what they need? That one shift could redefine how millions of people discover products and services. Introducing JEEPON (Jeekota Point of Need) — a bold new marketplace built around demand first, not supply first. "Sometimes the biggest innovations begin by asking a simple question no one else asked." This is not a fundraising campaign. No money is being collected. We're validating this idea before building it or approaching investors. Would you support JEEPON?

Founder Idea: JERRAND(Jeekota Errand)
There are times when you need someone you can trust in another town, city or country, but you don't know anyone there. I'm building JERRAND (Jeekota Errand), a platform that connects individuals, businesses and organisations with trusted local Representatives who can carry out tasks on their behalf. Representatives choose the cities they operate in, define their service area and set their hourly or daily rates. Clients simply search, compare profiles and hire the Representative that best fits their needs. A JERRAND Representative can: Attend a business meeting Inspect a property before purchase Verify a supplier or business Submit or collect official documents Witness an event on your behalf Deliver confidential documents Buy goods from a local market Queue on your behalf Visit a government office Check on a construction project And much more. To build trust, Representatives who wish to handle purchases or collect valuable items can provide a refundable liability commitment or a verified guarantor. Once a job is accepted, the Representative is marked Busy until it is completed. Payment is held securely and released only after the client confirms the job has been done. I am seeking US$250,000 to build JERRAND and create a trusted network of local Representatives that helps people and businesses get things done, wherever they are. Would you support JERRAND as a smarter way for people and businesses to find trusted Representatives anywhere they need them?

JEEKOTA HERITAGE ARBORETUM (JHA)
What if we could save Nigeria's disappearing native plants before they are lost forever? Jeekota Heritage Arboretum (JHA) is a vision to identify, preserve, propagate and restore Nigeria's indigenous plant heritage through conservation, research and community participation. The project would establish greenhouses, nurseries, orchards, seed banks and an arboretum dedicated to protecting and multiplying: Endangered native plant species Rare indigenous fruit trees Native medicinal plants Traditional food crops Indigenous shrubs and forest species Wild relatives of cultivated crops Once healthy populations have been established, selected species would gradually be reintroduced into suitable natural environments, helping to restore biodiversity and strengthen Nigeria's natural ecosystems. Our long-term vision is to establish a National Native Species Conservation Centre that serves as a living archive of Nigeria's botanical heritage, supporting research, education, environmental restoration and future generations. Every plant preserved today is a legacy for tomorrow. Should Nigeria establish Jeekota Heritage Arboretum to protect and restore our indigenous plant heritage before more species disappear? FOUNDER IDEA: WORKPROOF
"Your CV says what you can do. WORKPROOF proves what you’ve done." Millions of skilled people struggle to get opportunities because they lack formal credentials or trusted work history. WORKPROOF would create a portable digital reputation for workers—verified through completed jobs, customer ratings, payments and actual work evidence. A plumber, designer, mechanic, cleaner, developer or artisan could carry their verified work history wherever they go. I’m seeking $20,000 to build and test the first version of WORKPROOF. Would you use it? I’m putting this idea on Jeekota Mock-Crowdfunding before building it. Comment your thoughts—and tell me what you would change. Validate >>> Pitch

Mock-Crowdfunding Proposal (Illustrative): Build a ₦300 Billion Lithium Battery Pack Manufacturing Company in Nigeria.
This is a Mock-Crowdfunding campaign for discussion and idea validation only. No money is being raised. What industries could follow?
• Solar generators• Home energy storage systems• Electric vehicle battery packs• Electric motorcycle and tricycle batteries• Grid-scale battery storage• Battery recycling• Telecom backup power systems
Could this become Nigeria's next major manufacturing industry?Make your Pledge and join the discussion below.

This Machine Uses Lasers to Kill Weeds—No Chemicals Needed
Imagine controlling weeds without spraying herbicides or relying on hours of manual labour. Farmers in the United States, Europe and Australia are increasingly using the LaserWeeder, an AI-powered agricultural machine that identifies weeds with cameras and destroys them using precise laser beams—without harming nearby crops. The system scans thousands of plants every minute, distinguishes crops from weeds using artificial intelligence, and eliminates unwanted plants instantly. This reduces the need for herbicides, lowers labour costs, and helps farmers grow healthier crops while protecting the environment. As labour shortages and production costs continue to rise around the world, technologies like this could transform agriculture by making farming more efficient, sustainable and profitable. Would you support introducing AI-powered farming equipment like the LaserWeeder across Nigeria and Africa if it helped farmers reduce costs, increase yields and use fewer chemicals? Share your thoughts. Read more:

Rwanda Is Not Just Building an Airport. It Is Building a New City Around It.
Most people think an airport is simply a place where planes land and take off. Rwanda is trying something much bigger. The New Kigali International Airport in Bugesera is being developed with support from the Qatar Investment Authority, but the real story is what is happening around the airport. Rwanda is planning an entire Airport City—a new economic zone with industries, logistics hubs, warehouses, hotels, offices, technology parks, and commercial districts connected to the airport. The goal is not just to move passengers. The goal is to attract businesses, manufacturers, exporters, investors, and high-value jobs for decades to come. Instead of waiting for a city to grow around infrastructure, Rwanda is designing the infrastructure and the city together. This is one of the most interesting development experiments in Africa because it asks a different question: What if a single project could create an entirely new economic ecosystem? If your state had ₦1 trillion to build one project that could create jobs for the next 50 years, what should it be? A new industrial city? A technology hub? A deep-sea port? A modern rail corridor? A renewable energy zone? Something else? Explain your idea in the comments. Read more:
